As you might know, inverters transform the sun’s rays into usable electricity (DC to AC). But which inverter is best for you? There are three main types:

* On-grid: requires the grid to be on, and in Lebanon this is rarely the case.

* Off-grid: unconnected to the grid, requires large solar arrays and battery storage.

**Hybrid**: can give and take from the grid, use solar and grid (or generator) electricity simultaneously, can charge batteries from any source.
